Target Rifle

This discipline offers participation in the Yakima Indoor League series of matches and is how the KVRPC got its start in indoor gallery shooting. The target used is the A-17. Most shooters use a heavy target rifle and lots of equipment. This is the program for those shooters that want to participate in Olympic style indoor target shooting. The Target Rifle program is 16 weeks long and all of the matches are fired at the KVRPC range. The scores are electronically submitted to the Yakima league each week. These matches are on Tuesday with the first shot down range no earlier than 6:00PM.

Weekly Scores
Light Rifle
KVRPC started this discipline to meet the needs of shooters that want to shoot their .22 rifle indoors during the winter but do not want to go through the time and expense of shooting the Target Rifle series of matches. The rules allow the use of any safe 22 S,L or LR rifle weighing less than 10lbs to be used. We will score the targets for you but your score is your business only. This has proven to be very well received by the participants and is a great way to bring the family out for an evening of shooting in a warm and safe environment. The course of fire is 25 or 50 shots at the A-17 or A-32 target. We even have metallic silhouettes to knock over. If you just like to shoot your .22 and are not interested in very formal matches then this is the program for you.
